Annabelle is a caring and inclusive practitioner. She enjoys helping all bodies of all ages, from babies to the elderly, with a wide range of presentations from injuries to headaches, back pain, postural strains, childhood development, pre and post pregnancy support, queer healthcare and women’s health issues. She studied Osteopathy at RMIT University in Melbourne, graduating in 2017 and has since worked alongside many great osteopaths.
Annabelle uses a range of hands-on techniques, including cranial and biodynamic osteopathy, as well as take home exercises and patient education to best support her patients in understanding and managing their concerns for long-term outcomes. She values providing care specific to each individual and is endlessly inspired by osteopathy’s holistic view of the body and health as an intelligent, dynamic and integrated system in close relationship to its environment.
Annabelle came to osteopathy through her background as a professional contemporary dancer. Her physical training, injury rehabilitation and various functional movement practices influence her knowledge base and Osteopathic practice. She grew up on the north coast of NSW and after 16 years living in Melbourne it was time to get back to nature. Making the move to the Surfcoast has been the best place to enjoy life, start her new family and connect with the local community.
