James is an experienced Osteopath who is passionate about holistic and preventative health, as well
as assisting people through injury and pain.
In addition to his osteopathic education, James has completed a certification in functional medicine which positions him perfectly to hunt for the root cause of any problem and to help you understand not only what the problem is, but why it has arisen and how you can work to together to best manage it.
James has an interest in supporting musculoskeletal changes during pregnancy, infant growth and development, and works closely with lactation consultants to assist with mechanical feeding difficulties.
Having spent time working as part of an aged care pain management team, James has seen how quickly a decline in health can occur with limited mobility and chronic pain and adopts an ‘ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure’ approach to support healthy ageing.
Away from the clinic, James is an aspiring vegetable gardener, cricketer and a part time musician. However he is most content when surrounded by his family, including his cheeky border collie, and by nature (without shoes where possible).
